Buying, warehousing and despatch on one set of records

Supplier prices in old quotation files, stock spread over several warehouses, and delivery slots agreed by phone. SenangUrus keeps purchasing, stock, despatch and the books on the same records, so what is on hand and what is owed agree.

What we hear

The five problems that bring this sector to us

These are the problem statements we hear in this sector before any software is discussed. None of them are solved by adding another screen — they are solved by two things sharing one record.

01

Supplier prices and terms live in old quotations and inboxes

Purchase quotes, purchase orders and goods received keep the supplier price history inside the system rather than in someone's mailbox.

02

Stock across three warehouses never matches the total

Warehouses, transfers and every movement keep a trail, with quantities and valuation per location rather than one company average.

03

The next order ships before anyone sees the customer's account

Order history, invoices and the ledger sit in one system, so the account position is read from the same records before the next despatch.

04

Delivery slots are agreed by phone and forgotten

Shipments, pickups, consolidations and pre-alert lists run in the logistics module, with tariff rules calculating the charge.

05

Nobody can say what a shipment really cost or earned

Landed cost and stock valuation sit with the stock records, and sales report by customer and by period from the same data.

Problem by problem

What SenangUrus actually does about each one

Read down the middle column: each answer names a capability that exists in a shipped module, and the right column links straight to it. Where a capability sits in a higher edition, the chip says so.

Modules that matter here — and the ones you can ignore for now

Most businesses in this sector do not need the whole catalogue. This is the shortlist we configure first; everything else stays switched off until it earns its place.

SenangUrus 360

High-volume purchasing, several warehouses and own-fleet despatch in one operation.

A single-warehouse trader can start on Business for books, stock and CRM, and move up when warehouses and delivery multiply.

How a rollout runs here

  • Load supplier prices and reorder points before the next buying cycle, not after it.
  • Count one warehouse at a time and reconcile it before moving to the next.
  • Move delivery scheduling into the system ahead of your peak season — that is when the phone stops working.

Every sector follows the same five phases — prepare, set up, load, rehearse, go live — described in the onboarding guide, with the interactive checklist on the Resources page.

FAQ

Wholesale & Distribution questions

01/Can we keep buying from the same suppliers on the same terms?
Yes. Quotes, orders and goods received are records against the supplier, so the price history and the agreed terms stay with the vendor instead of in a folder of old quotations.
02/We hold stock in more than one place. How does that work?
Warehouses and locations carry their own quantities, transfers keep a movement trail, and reporting can be read per location or across the company.
03/How do we see what a customer already owes?
Account records, invoices and the ledger are in the same system, so the outstanding position is read from the books rather than from a separate credit spreadsheet.
