Field records, labour and yield from one set of books

Field records on paper, worker attendance reconstructed afterwards, and yield estimated rather than measured. SenangUrus records the input, the labour and the output on the same estate records.

What we hear

The five problems that bring this sector to us

These are the problem statements we hear in this sector before any software is discussed. None of them are solved by adding another screen — they are solved by two things sharing one record.

01

Field records collected on paper and in chat

Production, materials and work orders are recorded as they happen, with a movement trail behind every entry.

02

Worker and gang attendance reconstructed after the fact

Attendance, shifts and leave are recorded per estate, and labour cost can be read against the block it belongs to.

03

Yield and input usage estimated rather than measured

Raw materials and finished goods move through production with quantities and costs recorded, not remembered.

04

Certification evidence assembled only at audit time

Documents, versions and approvals sit against the record with audit logs, so evidence exists before the auditor asks.

05

No cost-to-yield view per block or estate

Purchases, labour and production costs sit on the same records, and reports compare blocks, estates and periods.

Problem by problem

What SenangUrus actually does about each one

Read down the middle column: each answer names a capability that exists in a shipped module, and the right column links straight to it. Where a capability sits in a higher edition, the chip says so.

Modules that matter here — and the ones you can ignore for now

Most businesses in this sector do not need the whole catalogue. This is the shortlist we configure first; everything else stays switched off until it earns its place.

SenangUrus 360

Estates running production, labour and multi-entity books across locations.

A single farm selling at the gate can start on DNA, but labour costing and production belong to the higher editions.

How a rollout runs here

  • Pick one block or one crop and record it end to end for a full cycle before rolling out.
  • Agree how labour is recorded with the field supervisors — the system will not fix an attendance process that does not exist.
  • Load supplier prices before the next input purchase, so cost per block starts from real numbers.

Every sector follows the same five phases — prepare, set up, load, rehearse, go live — described in the onboarding guide, with the interactive checklist on the Resources page.

FAQ

Agriculture questions

01/How is labour costed to the work?
Attendance and timesheets are recorded per staff member, and production and purchase records carry their own costs, so the report can compare labour and input against output for the period you choose.
02/Can we keep certification evidence in the system?
Documents, approvals and quality checks are recorded against the record with audit logs, and can be exported for an audit file.
03/We run several estates. One system or several?
One set of books with branch-aware ledgers covers the estates, and locations are separated for stock and reporting.
